You will need the following pages:
- A home page that introduces the reader to the purpose of the site
- A class information page - this includes information such as required course materials and/or course rules.
- A parent page - this should include information about you as a teacher and your contact information at your school. It should also include information about upcoming events such as class parties, any unusual need (such as supplies (like baby food jars) that will need to be collected for project or a need for volunteers)
- A student page - this should include enrichment activities for the student and a place to showcase student work . You should also include five web sites that your students could use to enhance their understanding of the lesson
As you can tell, you will need to think about what you want to include. I suggest that you use Inspiration to help you plan your site and to note and save any links that you might want to include. Remember that the Web is graphical environment; as we work on this assignment we will explore ways to make this site more interesting and useful.
This is really one of the hardest tasks that I ask you to do. For this week, all you need to do is think about how you want that web site to represent you to the world and what resources you need for that goal. Good planning makes a good site. So begin thinking and collecting resources for this assignment.
